Despite the best efforts of the psychiatric community, Karla Telega has unleashed her first book on society with Box of Rocks. She is a graduate of hot flashes, who writes mysteries, humor, and a killer Christmas letter. She lives with her husband in South Carolina, where she enjoys reading, watching football, and walking her dog. Like a great chef, Karla Telega in her humorous mystery, Box of Rocks, has baked an amazing story filled with lavish ingredients for a unique dish. Every flavor of human emotion runs through this story like trust, loyalty, love, sadness, laughter, greed, jealousy, anger, revenge, competitiveness and so forth. A remark early on from a therapist, and it entirely fits the events in Box of Rocks. The novel is the first by writer Karla Telega, and combines mystery, comedy, secrets, and the bond of friendship into a good narrative. At its heart are Maggie Gorski and Cher Anderson, two South Carolina friends in their fifties.
